An award-winning executive furnishing services related to the manufacturing sector, Ashwani Muppasani prepared for his career by earning a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Wichita State University in 1995. That same year, Ashwani Muppasani took a position at General Motors, where he would go on to serve in multiple roles through 2013. Among his accomplishments at General Motors, he assisted in achieving the highest year-over-year volume growth for General Motors Latin America & Africa as a supplier quality director. Additionally, he cut year-over-year costs by $35 million through negotiations with a steel supplier as the vice president of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain of General Motors South Korea. As a result of his leadership, Mr. Muppasani received two distinguished General Motors Transformer Awards.
After working at General Motors, Ashwani Muppasani served as an executive vice president of OHorizons Global, and his responsibilities centered on furnishes solutions for distressed automotive suppliers. More recently, he worked at TE Connectivity from 2014 to 2019. As senior director of Americas Quality and Operations, he improved operations and quality in Brazil, Mexico, the U.S., and Canada, including reducing the year-over-year cost of poor quality by 20 percent. As a vice president of Americas Operations and Quality, he accelerated efficiency to achieve global digital factory transformation.
